Professional Development
Professional Development (P.D.) is required to support an effective implementation of dual language education, and must be on-going and include a long term commitment by the school community and the school district in which the program resides. P.D. will differ for new and veteran dual language educators.
Sample 3-5 Year Program and Professional Development Plan (to be posted soon)
DLeNM offers a variety of high quality program and professional development opportunities; although it is part of DLeNM’s mission to build instructional leadership capacity and support individual programs in the development of on-site expertise needed to fully ensure program implementation success. With this end in mind, DLeNM is always looking to collaborate with individual schools and/or school districts to plan School and/or District Hosted Events. These events would be planned in addition to a regular calendar of events that DLeNM maintains.
